Betty Sue Story

Betty Sue Story, age 64, of Avon Park, Florida, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Lake Placid, Florida. She was a resident of Avon Park for 45 years. Betty was born on May 3, 1960, in Arcadia, Florida, to her loving parents, Cecil and Betty Story (Hill). Betty worked at Circle K for 20 years, a job she adored and a place she made many friends. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her plants. Her favorite flowers were orchids.

Betty is survived by her sisters; Mary Keen – Avon Park, FL, Alma Faye Barnett – Wauchula, FL, Josie Miller (Levi) – Clewiston, FL, nieces and nephews; Allison R. Keen, Cecil Lee Colson, Lucas Colson, Lisa Colson, Jason Colson, Amanda Pollard, and Susan Miller.

She is preceded in passing by her parents. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Services for Betty will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
