Betty Louise Stitt

Betty L. Stitt, 88, of Sebring, FL passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was born on March 5, 1930 to the late Ezra Manuel and Ora Louise (Knepshield) Dickey in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. She has been a resident of Highlands County, more specific Crown Pointe Assisted Living, since 2011, coming from Pennsylvania. Betty enjoyed cooking, dancing, bowling and playing Bingo. She was President of The Ladies Auxiliary for the Elks and loved to be with her family. Survivors include: children; Tottie (Fred) Hupp-Sebring, FL, Allan R. Stitt-Columbus, OH and Janet (Ron) Price-Lorida, FL, sisters; Doris Kane-CA and Wanda Shaw-PA and brother; Mike(Linda) Dickey-PA, grandchildren; Lori Trottier-MA, Fred A. Hupp Jr.-FL, Susan Pangborn-MA, Christine Couts-OH, A.R. Stitt Jr-OH, Jason Stitt-OH, Emilie Sears-PA, Andrew Fair-PA, Oliver Fair-PA and Gracie Davenport-PA, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by Ira Gilbert Stitt, her son; Gilbert Paul Stitt, grandson; Joseph Allan Stitt and great granddaughter; Taylor Thombs. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00am at Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
