Betty Schomisch

Betty Schomisch, 85, of Avon Park, FL, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, FL. She was born on May 23, 1931 in Muscoda, Wisconsin to the late Albert and Florence (Purdy) Drone. Betty spent her career as the store manager of her family owned drug store for 25 years. She moved to Avon Park in 1980 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Betty loved to play golf and bowl and she was also a great nature lover. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Schomisch of Avon Park, FL; children, Valerie Garrett (Russ); Carol Schomisch; David Schomisch (Michelle), three grandchildren and sister, Marjorie Peura.
