Betty Anne Johnson

Betty Anne Johnson, 80, of Highlands Ridge in Avon Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Tampa, Florida. She was born January 19, 1933, to Fred and Lois (Lund) Hansen in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1991, coming from Trafalgar, Indiana. She enjoyed bowling; was a doll collector; loved to golf and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, "Duke" Johnson; children, Buck and wife Mary Rankin; Mark Rankin; Paula and husband Dean Suddith; Kelly Johnson and Karalee Johnson; brother, Fritz and wife Jodi Hansen; grandchildren, Tara Jo, Ben, Frank, Dan, Debbie, Deedee, Lynsie and Travis; great-grandchildren, Justice, Jaclyn, Olivia, Mason and Emmett. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Highlands Ridge Founders Hall in Avon Park.
