My Mother was the most beautiful soul I have ever known.  We had our ups and downs, but I can say with my whole heart that she was the most strong, loving, caring and giving person most would ever know.

I wish I could have everyone she knew here to share in her life celebration, but given the issues in the world right now – I know that she would want everyone safe and would never want for anyone to feel like they had to gather or travel to come to a funeral.  I know this because she always called and kept in-touch and let all of her friends and family know how she felt.  She was not a person to leave you not knowing or wondering if she cared – She cared about everyone – she let you know that when she spoke with you every time! My mother was 76 years old and even though that seems young; given her physical limitations she was unhappy with her limitations in life and told a number of people that she was ready to go and that she lived a good life.  It was almost like she knew God would be bringing her home soon because she had begun to tell a few people good bye.  As much as she loved her family and her friends; she also loved her animals (all animals) and the earth.  She wanted to save every tree and all of the water and don’t get her started on air quality.  All of this is because she was so full of love for all God’s creations. “Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” – Everyone who knew my Mother knows how much that quote really means by the way she touched the hearts of everyone she knew.  She had so many “moments” and she would tell those stories all the time.  She always had a memory and a story about everyone she knew and each and every one of her animals too. I am so very proud of my Mother; she gave me so many gifts: independence, strength, character and most of all Love.  She made me the woman I am today.  The hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life was to say Goodbye to my one and only Mother.

I LOVE YOU MOM
