Bertie Mae Devericks, a resident of Phenix City, Alabama and former resident of Sebring, Florida, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Saint Francis Hospital at the age of 84. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Florida, with Rev. George Hall officiating. Preceding the service, a viewing will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, MSG Kenneth G. Devericks and is survived by two daughters, Patricia Marsh and her husband, Will of Phenix City and and Loretta Jean Leslie and her husband Wally of Silver Springs, FL; three grandchildren, Tommy Vickers, Jr., Kelly Leslie and Debbie Lord; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb Leslie and Tommy Marion Vickers, III; two sisters, Jackie Scott and her husband Russell of Avon Park, FL and Janie Mercer and her husband Johnny of Lakeland, FL and one brother, Floyd Yarbrough and his wife, Martha Ann of Sebring and a host of nieces and nephews.
