The family of Bert R. Acker is saddened to announce his death on February 10, 2026, in Sebring, FL. He was born in Cleveland, OH on October 5, 1942, to Richard and Mary Acker.
Bert survived by his wife of 50 years Kathy Acker, daughters; Lori (husband Brian) Mewhinney and Lisa Broski, son; Justin R. Acker, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and brother; Thomas (wife Virginia) Acker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please consider a small donation to Good Sheperd Hospice or Center for Great Apes.
