BERNARD J. McCAULEY, JR. Bernard J. McCauley, Jr., 71, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 in Orlando, FL. He was born May 31, 1938, to Bernard J. and Cora (Ames) McCauley in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1993, coming from West Lebanon, NY. He was an Assembler of Guided Missiles for 28 years for G.E. Missile Company; was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving for four years during Peacetime and was of the Baptist faith. He was known as The Bike Man in Highlands County at Firemans Flea Market and Reflections. He is survived by his wife, Florence L. McCauley of Avon Park; children, Brian (Barbara) Grover, Bennington, VT; Brenda (Neil) Dunlap, Poultney, VT; Robin Norton, Pittsfield, MA and Scott Grover, Bennington, VT; brother, Albert (Patricia) McAuley, Spring Hill, FL; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Reflections in Avon Park.
