BEATRICE P. YOUNG Beatrice P. Young, 96, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009, in Avon Park. She was born January 13, 1913, to John Thomas and Fanny (Miller) Hayes in Nescopeck, PA, and had been a resident of the area since 1974, coming from Hanover, NJ. She was a homemaker and a member of the O.E.S. and Garden Club in Hanover; a member of High 12 and of the Presbyterian faith. Mrs. Young is survived by her Son, Dan E. and Ann Young, IV of Sebring, FL; Daughters, Shirley Jane Marion, Tampa, FL; Lois Helen Bright, Parsippany, NJ; Pauline Mary and Larry Hoover, Landing, NJ and Beatrice Pearl Downing, Madison, NJ; 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Chaplain Harry Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring, will be immediately following the service.
