Barbara Dees Morgan Caro

Barbara Dees Morgan Caro, age 78, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born in Belle Glade, Florida on November 8, 1946 to the late Teford and Johnie (Lott) Dees.  Barbara was of the Baptist faith and had been a Florida Highway Patrol Dispatcher and retired with 30 years of service. Barbara married the love of her life, Jetson Morgan, Jr. on February 7, 1962.  From this marriage, she had four children: Denise M. Crosby (Eddie) of Belle Glade, FL, Diana M. Chancey (Gary) of Belle Glade, FL, Jetson Morgan III (Lee) of Kenansville, FL, and Jeffery E. Morgan (Bonnie Kelley) of Sebring, FL.  Barbara loved to sew and was a seamstress, loved all animals and to feed the birds, and loved the casino and playing the lottery.  She was an old fashioned and believed in “set down” dinners.  She was a quilter and had a great sense of humor.  Barbara loved to play softball, going to the lake, fishing, and sitting around a campfire with her family.  She is also survived by her Grandchildren – Zach, Allie, Jarrett, Marissa, Harley, and Abby; Great-Grandchildren – Tucker and Adlee Jet; Best friend and Sister – Linda Dees Robian of Monroe, LA; Special niece – Cheryle B. Newson of Baton Rouge, LA; Special friends – Jean, Liz and Randy of Venice, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews from Monroe and other areas in Louisiana.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Sister – Susie Dees Bernard; Brothers – Jimmy Dees and Henry Dees; Ex-Husband – Jet Morgan.  A graveside service will be held Monday, August 11 at 11:00am at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, FL.
