BARBARA MAY HUTCHINS Barbara May Hutchins, 86, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in Lake Placid, FL. She was born March 7, 1924, to Lynn and Edith (Salie) Russell in Binghamton, New York and had been a resident of Sebring since 1976, coming from New York. She was a teacher and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Leisure Lakes; the Highlands Amateur Radio Club-License KG4AHZ and the Florida Live Steamers-Trains. Mrs. Hutchins is survived by her husband, Frank D. Hutchins, Jr. of Sebring; daughters, Christine Beitzel, Littleton, CO and Sheryl Low, Simi Valley, CA; sons, Kalon Orcutt, Fresno, CA and Kip Orcutt, Vancouver, Canada; sisters, Jane Cornet, and Jean Ford, both of Owego, New York; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Leisure Lakes, Rev. Don Roberts officiating.
