Barbara L. Harden-Ward

Barbara L. Harden-Ward, age 70, of Avon Park, FL passed away in Sebring, FL on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. She was born on September 1, 1948 in Avon Park, FL to Harvey W. and Louise (Pate) Harden. Barbara worked for the State of Florida as a Corrections Officer, was a member of the Church of Christ, and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, FL.  She is survived by her Husband - Richard “Bud” Ward of Avon Park, FL; Daughter - Lanita Cutts; Sons - William Anderson; Stephen Harden; Brother - Larry (Velma) Bond; Nieces – Sheryl Bond Adams-Laura Fowler; Nephews – Shawn T. Bond-Keith Fowler-and numerous other nieces, nephews -Great Niece Lauren C. Benton and many great nieces and nephews; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great grandchildren.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Beck officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
