Barbara Ann Carr, 87, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. Born on July 17, 1937, in Vicker, Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Roy and Georgianna Richardson.

Barbara is survived by her devoted children, Terrie Lynn Carrpayatt (William Rosier) of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Jeffrey Hunter Carr (Pearl) of Belmont Shore, CA; four cherished grandchildren; and her loving companion, Howard B. Edick.

Barbara spent her career as a Senior Building Inspector, a role in which she excelled with dedication and precision. In 2004, she relocated to Sebring, FL, from Riverside, CA, where she became an active and vibrant member of her community. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge, where her warm spirit and generous nature made her many friends.

Barbara was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a deep love for flower arranging, a hobby that allowed her artistic nature to shine. She was also a NASCAR enthusiast, enjoying the thrill of the race and the friendship of fellow fans. Above all, Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother who delighted in spoiling her children and grandchildren, making each moment spent with them special.

Known for her loving, generous, and social personality, Barbara brought joy and kindness to everyone she met. Her fun-loving spirit and artistic flair will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Barbara will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
