Austin H. Marshall

Austin H. Marshall, age 85, passed away September 8, 2022 in Sebring, Florida. He was born March 29, 1937 in Barbados, the son of Clifton and Mahala (Marshall) Bruce. Austin worked as a professional chef. He enjoyed cooking, his specialty was his coconut sweet bread. He liked to travel, sing and play dominos. He was a member of the Seventh day Adventist Church, and a member of the Grand Concourse brothers, he served as deacon, and for many years sang in the church choir. Austin was a loving father and loved all children. He had been a resident since 2020 coming from San Antonio, TX. Austin is survived by his Wife – Marylin Nonnon of Sebring, FL; Son – Lynden Marshall of NY; Sister – Ira Charles; Brothers – Ceppy Bruce and Andrew Bruce. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Elma Marshall  Eloise Millington and Merlin Holder. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with a chapel service to follow at 11:30 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park.
