Audrey C. Bennett Key

Audrey C. Bennett Key, age 81 passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Frostproof, Florida. She was born in Lloyd, Florida to Ira B. and Ruth (Langford) Patterson. Mrs. Key was a sales clerk for Touchston Drugs, Eckerds and CVS; she was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church she had been a resident of Avon Park since 1944 coming from Monticello, Florida. She is survived by her sons-Chet Bennett of Avon Park, Florida, Jack Bennett (Sherri) of Sebring, Florida and Doug Bennett (Renee) of Frostproof, Florida; sisters-Dolly Lastinger of Sebring, Florida and Arlene Jones of Pensacola, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. John Dumas officiating. Burial will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church, 1000 Maxwell Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825.
