Arnold Lowe Jr.

Arnold Lowe Jr. , age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. Born in Marion, Indiana, he was the son of the late Arnold Lowe Sr. and Violet (Bowland) Lowe.

A devoted member of the Sebring Church of Christ for over 20 years, Arnold was known for his ready smile, witty t-shirts, and love of conversation, Arnold lived life with humor, heart, and horsepower.

A true enthusiast of vintage cars—none more treasured than the ’55 Chevy—Arnold found joy behind the wheel and was always game for a spontaneous road trip. His love of old Westerns revealed his appreciation for grit and adventure, traits he carried in his own life.
Whether dining out with his cherished church CEO group or making someone laugh with one of his signature shirts, Arnold brought warmth wherever he went.

He is preceded in death by his loving Wife – Rebecca Sue Lowe of Sebring, FL; Sons – Andrew Lowe of Fort Pierce, FL; James Lowe of Sebring, FL; Thomas Lowe (Rachael) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Daughter – Mary Hussell (Christopher) of Cocoa, FL; Grandchildren – Nicholas Lowe, Timothy Lowe, Drew Lowe, Stephanie Ashley Lynch, Kristin Michelle Whissel, and Michael William Lowe; Great Grandchildren – Alexander Lynch and Evee Whissel.

He was a friend to many, always ready with a story, a drive, or a shared meal. Arnold’s presence was larger than life and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
