Arlene Peters

Valda Arlene Peters was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2023. She was 89 years old. Arlene was a housewife and mother. She loved her family, dogs, church, counted cross stitch, and gardening outside. She is preceded in death by her parents – Kenneth E. Hisey and Valda Baske Hisey; sister – Loretta Patterson; and husband – Ray Peters. Arlene is survived by her daughter – Denise; son-in-law – Ricky; granddaughter – Amanda; and great granddaughter – Lily. A memorial service will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be held at a later date.
