Archie A. Mullens

Archie Mullens, age 94 passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on July 31, 1922 in War, West Virginia to the late James and Grace Mullins. Archie proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. and later in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a pilot and retired as Lt. Colonel. He moved to Lake Placid in 1986 coming from Greenville, MS. He was an avid bridge player and gardener. Archie lived a long happy life and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his children: Nancy Thompson (Nelson)-Columbia, SC, Mike Mullen-Maui, HI; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Elaine Mullens.
