April M. Hartseil

April M. Hartseil of Lorida, FL passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 61. She was born in Waterbury, CT to Richard and Diana Booth.

April was past the President of the Florida Association of Code Enforcement. She served as Code Enforcement Officer for the City Alachua, Highlands County, and Glades County during her 20 plus years in Code Enforcement. During her off-time she loved to be outdoors enjoying nature. Some of her hobbies included racing, camping, gardening, tending to her beautiful orchids, and spoiling her fur babies Onyx and Wilson.

April is survived by her devoted husband Greg Hartseil, her son Grant Hartseil (Rachael) of Sebring, FL, her mother Diana Booth, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, her brother Lee Booth of Texas, her sister Doreen Goodwin of West Palm Beach, FL, and her three grandchildren Graeson, Griffyn, and Raena Hartseil.

April’s kindness, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
