Annie Ray High

Annie Ray High, age 69 passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Sampson, Alabama to James Alcus and Audrey Lee (Thomas) Wise. She was a waitress, of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of Avon Park; she enjoyed fishing, crafting, painting and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her sons-James High (Cindy) of Avon Park, Florida and Carl High (Helen) of Avon Park, Florida; mother-Audrey Wise of Avon Park, Florida; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; uncle Rudell Thomas (Evelyn) of Virginia and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father J.A. Wise and a sister Nellie Fay Wise. A friends and family gathering will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (1 hour prior to service) with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev.
