Anna Dee Shaw

Anna Dee (Harden) Shaw passed away peacefully Monday, February 27, 2017 at The Manor at Lake Jackson in Sebring, Florida. Anna Dee loved baking and for years provided many Avon Park residents with beautiful wedding, anniversary and birthday cakes. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the years she spent as a member for the Hibiscus Garden Club of Avon Park. She was very artistic and assisted with the creation and painting of the wooden Christmas characters that decorate the Avon Park mall during the holiday season. Anna Dee was of Christian faith and had a strong belief in family values. She will be missed by all who knew her. Anna Dee was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Grace Boney, brothers Olin and Norris Boney, sister Weita L. (Boney) Davis and husbands Bobby Harden and Charles Shaw. She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Per Anna Dee's request, there will be a celebration of life graveside service on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00am at Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Cornerstone Hospice or the charity/organization of your choice in memory of Anna Dee.
