ANNA JEAN PRESCOTT Age 75, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Mrs. Prescott was born in Manatee, Florida on October 8, 1936 to Claude and Doris (Grice) Elliott. Mrs. Prescott was a bookkeeper, former board member of the Avon Park Historical Society, member, treasurer and board member of the Avon Park Church of the Nazarene and a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Florida. She is survived by her daughters-Patti (Howie) Godwin of Avon Park, Florida and Bonnie Brown of Avon Park, Florida; step-son-Andy (Carolyn) Prescott of Ft. Meade, Florida; brother-Norman (Shirley) Elliott of Old Town, Florida; sisters-Pauline (Densby) Jackson of Frostproof, Florida, Carolyn (John) Carver of Winter Haven, Florida, Judy Elliott of Avon Park, Florida and Violet (Wayne) Singletary of Avon Park, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service: Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Avon Park Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Randall Rupert officiating. Burial will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
