Ann P. Holderness, aged 71, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in Sebring, FL. Born on May 8, 1952, in Santa Flora, Trinidad and Tobago, Ann was a beloved mother, sister, and friend.
Before retiring from her career, Ann was a dedicated employee in the finance industry. A woman of Catholic faith, she became a resident of Sebring in 2017, after living in Coral Springs, FL, Clark County, NV, and Montgomery County, MD. Ann is remembered as an exceptional mother with an enormous heart; her love for her daughter knew no bounds. Her lively spirit was complemented by a great sense of humor and a penchant for playful pranks, making her a cherished friend to many. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, as she had traveled to all but two continents. Ann had a profound love for nature and the beach, finding solace and joy in the beauty of the outdoors.
Ann is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Holderness (partner Michael Garvin); brothers Trevor Fung (wife Judith), Selwyn Fung (wife Damaris); and several other siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Rubina Fung, her dearest sister, Monica Cincotta, who passed away on December 10, 2020, and her husband, Wallace E. Holderness Jr, who passed away on December 29, 2015. In remembrance of Ann's vibrant and nurturing life, a graveside burial ceremony will take place on January 4th at 2:30 pm, Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville, MD with a celebration of life immediately following.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
