Angie Mae Tolar

Angie Mae Tolar, age 73 passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in Avon Park, Florida. She was born in Cooter, Missouri to Chester Lee and Lois (Tomblin) Scott. She was a Dietician for the Walker Memorial Hospital, member of the Florida Avenue Baptist Church; she enjoyed serving God and reading her Bible and spending time with her family and friends. She had been a resident of Avon Park since 1971 coming from Lakeland, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 54 years-Lester Tolar of Avon Park, Florida; children-Ladonna Singley of Avon Park, Florida, Lee Tolar of Sebring, Florida and Jon Tolar of Avon Park, Florida; brothers-Hershel, Clarence and Jr. Scott; sister-Sue Bowles; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-Charles Ray Scott. Visitation will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Florida Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. John Girdley and Dan Edgerton officiating.
