Ambrose Mack Farmer, 77 of Sebring, Florida passed away on Tuesday evening August 14, 2018.  He was born on October 1, 1940.  He was born in Grayson County, Virginia to Columbia and Gouldi Farmer.

He had been a long time resident of Bassett, VA.  He moved to Sebring in April 25, 2011 after marrying his wife Barbara Sims Farmer.

Survivors include wife; Barbara Sims Farmer of Sebring, son; Jeff Farmer of Richmond, VA, daughter; Sharon Perry of Martinsville, VA and four grandchildren.  He is predeceased by sisters; Ethel and Maxine and living sisters; Ola and June.  He is survived by his brother, Jack Farmer and predeceased by his brothers, Mark and Herb Farmer.

Ambrose graduated from Gary High School in Gary WV in 1958.  He joined the Navy and retired as Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service.  He then worked for Dupont for 20 years.

Bud was a devoted husband and father.  He was an avid member of the Military Sea Service Museum in Sebring, FL.

A Memorial Service to be held on August 26, 2018 at 10:30am at the Christ Fellowship Church on 2933 New Life Way in Sebring, FL.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Sea Service Museum in Sebring, FL, 10402 Roseland Avenue in Sebring, FL 33870.
