Alvina Rawlings

Alvina Rawlings, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 10, 1923 to the late William and Frances Stark.  Alvina moved to Sebring in 1990 and was a member of St Agnes Episcopal Church.  She enjoyed playing Mahjong with the Golf Hammock Mahjong Mavens and reading. Alvina is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Rawlings, daughter-in-law, Dee Rawlings, sister, Twilight Kane and sister-in-law, Joyce Rawlings, seven grandchildren, Ryan Rawlings; John Rawlings; Michael Rawlings; Haley Shaffer (David); Greg Rawlings; Dawn Rawlings; Jackie Brannen (William), three great-grandchildren, Quintum Brannen; David Shaffer and Kylee Shaffer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Rawlings and son, Robert W. Rawlings.  There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 23, 2016, 2:00 p.m., Church of the Redeemer, Avon Park, FL with Father William Yates officiating.  In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870 ( www.chaptershealth.org ) or Camp Wingmann, 3401 N.
