Alta L. Novy, age 76, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017. She was born March 21, 1940 in Walla Walla, Washington to the late Ralph and Grace (Blair) Jacobus. She was a member of the Avon Park Seventh-day Adventist Church where she worked in the community service department and was a member of Pathfinders. Alta loved being in nature, traveling, sewing and loved her family. She has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 2001, coming from Farmington, NM.
She is survived by her Husband – Ralph Novy; Children – Teresa Blankenship; Ronald Novy; Andrew Novy (Arleen); Mark Novy (Jana); Brothers – Eugene Jacobus; Leroy Jacobus; Grandsons - Myekale; Adam; Aaron; Jonah; Granddaughter - Cheyenne; Great Grandchildren - Kaylynne Louise; Kirra Rae.
