Allyn Fred "Bud" Burrell, age 90, passed away on October 26, 2014 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born on June 9, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William T. and Gertrude (Bock) Burrell. Bud was a member of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was part of the D-Day + 8 Invasion. He was employed by Lockheed Martin for 30 years as supervisor for the development of the Patriot Missile Launch System. Bud was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church of Orlando. During his spare time he coached baseball. Bud is survived by his wife: Lucille R. Burrell, children: Bonnie (Byford) Treanor-Southlake, TX; Sherri (Lon) Crow-Sebring, FL and Gary (Stacey) Burrell-Kissimmee, FL, and five grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 8, 2014, beginning at 2:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with W. Mike Adams officiating.
