Allen Walter Scefcyk

ALLEN W. SCEFCYK Allen W. Scefcyk, 69, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Sebring. He was born July 17, 1940, to George and Dorothy (Rossnagel) Scefcyk in Newark, New Jersey, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2004, coming from Grand Island, Florida. He worked in delivery for Sears and Roebuck Co. and was a member of Tanglewood Community Church. He enjoyed playing golf and softball and spending time with his family. He has touched many lives, and played Santa Claus for schools and day care facilities, as well as for underprivileged children in Hollywood, FL. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Scefcyk of Sebring; children, Rosemarie (Billie) Serotta, Odessa, FL; Robert (Cheree) Scefcyk, Lutz, FL; Bill (Andrea) Jackson, Hobe Sound, FL; Lori (Mario) Spadavecchia, Bronson, FL and Shari (Butch) Raymond, Williston, FL; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A private service with the family will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Chapel and a Memorial Service will take place at a later date at the Tanglewood Clubhouse.
