Alfred Duane Brock

Alfred Duane Brock, age 90, of Avon Park, FL passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023.  He was born January 24, 1933 in Wauchula, FL to James M. and Neta C. (Stafford) Brock.  He worked for Gapway Groves, was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, FL.  Alfred is survived by his Daughter – Elaine Gainous of Avon Park, FL; Sister – Ruby McClellan (Larry) of Wauchula, FL; 3 Grandchildren – Kristy Ogburn (Doug); Justin Brock (Angela); Rachel Breen (Logan); 8 Great Grandchildren – Kadi; Brock; Annabelle; Savannah; Angelina; Dominic; Mary Elizabeth; and Mackenzie.  He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son – Steve Brock; Grandson – Michael Hoke; Brother – Leroy Brock; and Sister – Veda Mae Layport.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with interment following in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
