Alden P Wheeler

Alden P. Wheeler, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on November 9, 1946, in Waterford Maine, the son of Philip and Alice (Le Croix) West. Alden proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a chapter of his life he held with honor and pride. Alden was a devoted husband, father, and family man whose life was defined by hard work and dedication. He believed strongly in providing for his family and did so with unwavering commitment. He enjoyed working in the yard and found great satisfaction in gardening and spending time outdoors. He loved to travel and appreciated seeing new places, but he was always happiest at home with those he loved. Alden was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and dependable nature, qualities that will be remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Carole Wheeler; his son, Mark Wheeler; his daughters, Dawn Dupuis and Natalie Wheeler; two grandchildren Giselle Monique and Desiree Dupuis; and two great-grandchildren Rose and Zoe Dupuis, all of whom brought him great joy and pride. He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Wheeler. A visitation will be held Friday January 30th from 11-11:30 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with a graveside service at Lakeview Memorial gardens starting at 12pm.
