Albert A. Schoverling, age 70, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Sebring, FL. He was born on September 25, 1950 in West Palm Beach, FL to the late Albert A. Schoverling and Georgia (Hutchinson) Schoverling. He had been a resident of Florida for most of his life. He was given the nickname “Sonny” as a child and it stuck with him throughout his adult life. Sonny was a member of CrossRoads Church in Sebring. He worked in the sales industry and was great at that because he loved talking to people. He was a people’s person who never met a stranger. He loved the Christmas season and played Santa Claus for over 10 years. He so enjoyed being around the children and they loved him just as much. He really knew how to make the girl’s and boy’s smile. He gave of his time to charities as well. Other hobbies were fishing and hunting, although fishing was his favorite. Sonny has a deep faith in the Lord and although we all prayed for his healing here on earth, we know he is totally restored in a perfect body and celebrating in Heaven with his Savoir, Jesus and other loved ones that went before him. Sonny had a huge heart and would sometimes be called “Sunshine”. He loved his family and grandchildren and will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife Carol of almost 26 years; children – Scott Schoverling (Tracy) of Stuart FL; Jessica Rehnstrom (Brad) of West Palm Beach, FL; Lon Beckwith (Shanna) of FL. Surviving are also 4 grandchildren – Kaylee and Kenzlee Schoverling; Kaitlyn and Caroline Rehnstrom. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at 11:00am on May 15, 2021 at Crossroads Church 6424 US Hwy 27 S.
