Albert Edward Saenger

Albert Edward Saenger, age 89, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on December 14, 1926 in Middleton, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Barbara (Korth) Saenger.  Albert served our country with the U.S. Army during World War II.  He moved to Sebring in 2004 and enjoyed traveling and camping and was a member of several camping clubs. As a hobby he enjoyed building houses and would turn around and sell them.  He especially loved his family and will be missed by them all.  Survivors include his wife Betty Saenger-Sebring, FL; son, Dave Saenger (Kathleen)-Breckenridge, MN, daughter, Linda Peterson (Gary)-United Arab Emirates, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, one nephew and one niece.  There will be a funeral service on Friday, January 22, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Grace Church of Sebring, 3626 Thunderbird RD, Sebring, FL with Pastor Randy Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Monday, January 25, 2016 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shephard Hospice, 1110 Hammock Place, Sebring, FL 33870 ( www.chapterhealth.org )
