Albert Coleman Looney III (Skip) passed away Sunday March 10, 2024, at his home in Avon Park, FL. He was 56 years old. He was born on January 17, 1968, in Orlando, FL to Albert Coleman and Virginia Katherine (Turner) Looney. He was a lifelong resident of Polk and Highlands Counties. He enjoyed competitive darts, music, fishing, and was known for his incredible smoked brisket. He was a pressman for many years for the Highland News Sun, but later in life, found success and happiness as a flea market vendor where he could be his own boss. He worked at 3 different flea markets a week and loved setting up for the special shows. He had a real knack for engaging with his customers to find out exactly what they were looking for. He also loved his dog Bitty of 15 years.
He is survived by his sisters Elaine Hinkley and Pam Looney, his niece Kristen Fogt, his friend Michelle Granata-Gilley, his Aunt Elizabeth Shiver and many cousins. He is proceeded in death by his parents.
