Albert H Hawkins

Albert H. Hawkins, age 79, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019.  He was born August 14, 1939 in Eva, AL to Huston and Pearl Ford Hawkins.  He was Co-Owner and Operator of Western Auto, Supervisor of maintenance at Sun N Lake’s, was head of Security at the Candlelight Restaurant, a Teacher at South Florida Community College, member of the Masonic Lodge, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1970, coming from Chattanooga, TN.   He is survived by his Wife – Diane Hawkins of Avon Park, FL; Sons – Alan Hawkins (Barbara) of Apopka, FL; Stephen Hawkins of Avon Park, FL; Daughter – Kathy Schmitt of Sulphur Springs, AR; Sister – Alice Holland of Whitwell, TN.; Grandson – Christopher Hawkins of Apopka, Fl.-Grand Daughter Brittni Smith of Sebring, FL. and  Grand Daughter  Makayla Casey of Wauchula, Fl.  He is preceded in death by his Son – Benjamin Casey.  Memorial services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Avon Park.
