Paul Craig Mosher

Paul Craig Mosher, age 65, of Avon Park, FL, formally of Sparta, MI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at his home with his wife, Vickie, at his side. We rejoice that his pain and suffering has ended.

Paul was born in Grand Rapids, MI on July 7, 1956, to Carl and Mary Ann (Wier) Mosher and grew up in the Sparta area. He worked in construction as a painter most of his life. He enjoyed traveling and spending his time with his grandchildren, whether it be vacationing with them, fishing, or attending their sporting events. Paul never met a stranger – everyone was his friend.

He is preceded in death by his Mother – Mary Ann (Wier) Mosher; in-laws – George and Maxine Whipple, Roger Estelle, and George Whipple, Jr. Paul is survived by his Father – Carl Mosher; Wife of 31 years – Vickie L. Mosher; five Children – Paul Mosher, Jr. (Lisa), Jason Courson (Caitlin), Chad Courson (Kristi), Carl Mosher, and Chuck Mosher (Angie); Siblings – Joel Mosher (Kathy), Lois Kelly (Bob), Ami Nadolsky (Carl), Mary Mosher, Roger Estelle (Vangie), Scott Hartger (Kathy), and Beth Whipple; Uncle – Dave Wier; Aunts – Diane Wier and Connie Wier; 17 Grandchildren; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

A memorial service will be held at Sparta Baptist Church (38 South State Street, Sparta, MI 49345) on June 4, 2022. Family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM, service to start at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Doug Bytwert officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service.
